Narrator
Ronald F. Maxwell and Director Mark Bussler visited
Leesburg, Virginia on Saturday, June 10th for an all-day
event entitled Behind the Scenes with Horses of
Gettysburg. One of the fastest growing areas in the
U.S., Leesburg is rich in history so it was no surprise that
so many people turned out for a film discussion at the Tally
Ho Theatre followed by a DVD signing at Leesburg Bookstore
and "meet and greet" events at All the King's Horses and
Serendipity on the Vine.
Honorable Kristen C. Umstattd, mayor of Leesburg, kicked off
the day with a warm introduction. Other attendees who
enjoyed the opportunity to meet the filmmakers included
Leesburg Councilwoman Kelly Burk, Leesburg Downtown
Coordinator Lisa Capraro, a host of fans - including several
dressed in traditional Civil War garb - and members of the
media. If an award for longest drive to the event were to be
given, it would likely go to Cappy Tosetti who drove for 10
hours from Kentucky to learn more from the filmmakers for an
article to appear later this year in Draft Horse Journal.
Inecom Entertainment Company would like to thank everyone in
Leesburg who helped to make this event possible. |
